- 6 French sandwich rolls
- 12 slices cooked smoked bacon
- 2 ounces store-bought pesto
- 2 ounces mayonnaise
- 6 romaine lettuce leaves
- 3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 thick slices Dragone® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Kosher salt
Directions
Slice the sandwich rolls open. Place the rolls, cut-side down on a griddle to toast, if desired.
Combine the pesto with the mayonnaise in a small bowl and smear one dollop on the bottom part of each roll. Spread with the back of a spoon.
Layer the romaine on the bread, then the tomato, bacon and Dragone® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese.
Season with salt and pepper; close the sandwich.
