  • 1 9-inch deep-dish frozen pie crust, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) Dragone® Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup pepperoni, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Bake the unfilled pie crust according to the package directions and cool before filling.

Layer the crust with 1/2 cup of the Dragone® Mozzarella Cheese, pepperoni, red pepper, onion and remaining 1 cup of the Dragone® Mozzarella Cheese.

In a medium bowl, combine the cream, eggs, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly and gently pour over the filling.

Place the quiche on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes and then cut into wedges.
